The additions include a wildlife sanctuary in Nepal and a luxury boutique hotel in Croatia

Preferred Hotels & Resorts has added 15 new member properties to its global portfolio, ranging from a hidden safari resort in the wilderness of Nepal to a sophisticated Mediterranean boutique hotel in the heart of Split, Croatia.

Himalayan Wildlife Sanctuary (Chitwan, Nepal) joins Preferred's Lifestyle Collection, which comprises properties in the category of "approachable luxury". Set along the banks of the Narayani River in the lush green region of Amaltari, this luxurious safari resort presents a tranquil, secluded escape for travellers seeking a natural connection to the magical wilderness of Nepal.

Joining the group's ultra-luxury LVX Collection is CordeValle (San Martin, California), Farol Hotel (Cascais, Portugal), Hotel Mousai Cancun – A Tafer Resort (Cancun, Mexico) and the aforementioned Hotel Ambasador Split (Croatia).

Hotel Ambasador Split enjoys a waterfront location on the West Coast promenade overlooking the Adriatic Sea, with two suites featuring expansive windows, and 98 contemporary rooms.

Farol Hotel, perched on rocks descending into the sea, offers a seamless blend of modern luxury and historic coastal charm, marrying a 19th-century mansion once owned by the Count of Cabral, together with upgraded contemporary architecture.  

Hotel Mousai Cancun – A Tafer Resort, set to open in Cancun in May 2024, is an adults-only resort poised along the white sand beach of Costa Mujeres.   

The criteria to be added to the portfolio includes being an independent luxury hotel that delivers authentic, one-of-a-kind experiences.
