Wäldchestag brings Frankfurt residents to the city’s Stadtwald forest each spring for a vibrant celebration of music, food and tradition. Frankfurt’s beloved open-air performing arts event, Sommerwerft, an international theatre festival on the river, returns to the banks of the River Main for its 25th anniversary. Spanning 17 days, the festival has developed from an independent initiative into one of Germany’s flagship outdoor cultural events, attracting more than 110,000 visitors annually. More than 200 artists and groups come together to present a diverse programme of music, dance, theatre and poetry.
