Air Arabia expands Syria network with Aleppo flights

Air Arabia will launch a new daily non-stop service between Sharjah and Aleppo from 4 July 2026, further strengthening its connectivity to Syria.

The service will operate from Sharjah International Airport (SHJ), departing at 08:00 and arriving at Aleppo International Airport (ALP) at 10:35. Return flights will depart Aleppo at 11:35, arriving in Sharjah at 15:55.

Aleppo becomes Air Arabia’s second destination in Syria, joining existing services to Damascus from Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, bringing the airline’s weekly operations to 21 flights.

The Aleppo launch follows Air Arabia Abu Dhabi’s recent expansion in Jordan with new services to Amman Civil Airport (ADJ), complementing existing operations to Queen Alia International Airport (AMM).

The carrier recently reported a net profit of AED 278 million (US$76 million) for Q1 2026, carrying more than 4.7 million passengers across its global network. Revenue declined 22% year-on-year amid regional air travel disruptions.
