Low-cost airline offers daily service to the Thai beach destination
Air Arabia has launched a new non-stop service between Sharjah and Krabi, adding more affordable connectivity between the UAE and Thailand’s Andaman coast. One-way fares on the route start from AED 999, with operations commencing on 28 November 2025.
The route operates daily, with flights departing Sharjah International Airport (SHJ) at 08:15 and arriving at Krabi International Airport (KBV) at 17:40 the same day. The return service leaves Krabi at 10:10, touching down in Sharjah at 14:20 local time.
Thailand remains a perennial favourite for UAE-based travellers, ranking as the fourth most popular outbound market for residents, according to recent data from UAE-based online B2B travel booking platform RateHawk. Reflecting this strong demand, Air Arabia has also added a third daily Sharjah–Bangkok service to its schedule.
Located on Thailand’s Andaman coast, Krabi is characterised by dramatic limestone cliffs, white-sand beaches, coral reefs and island-studded seascapes. Beyond its shoreline, the province features natural hot springs, sea caves, mangrove forests and notable sunset spots, particularly around Ao Nang, Railay and the surrounding islands.

Commenting on the launch, Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer, Air Arabia, said: “This new daily service offers our customers greater convenience and strengthens the growing travel and trade links between the UAE and Thailand. With Krabi now joining Bangkok and Phuket on our network from Sharjah, customers can enjoy even more convenient travel options to the country’s most popular destinations.”
From its three UAE airports, Air Arabia now serves a network of 217 routes, with recent expansions including new services to Prague, Sochi, Krabi, Samara, Tbilisi and Almaty in Kazakhstan. The carrier is also preparing to launch the first-ever non-stop route from Sharjah to London from 29 March 2026, offering a double-daily service to London Gatwick.
The Krabi launch further reinforces Sharjah International Airport’s role as a key regional hub for the airline’s passengers across the GCC and beyond. The airport recently reported its busiest quarter on record, handling more than 5 million travellers in the third quarter of 2025, supported by enhanced passenger facilities including a home check-in service.
