Project featuring hotel and branded residences to open in 2030
Minor Hotels will open an Anantara resort in Somabay on Egypt’s Red Sea coast, marking the brand’s latest expansion in the country.
Set to open in May 2030, the project will include 300 hotel keys and 150 branded residential units within the Somabay masterplan, located around 45 minutes from Hurghada International Airport (HRG).
Developed in partnership with Somabay Hotel Company SAE, the resort will feature a mix of rooms, suites and beach and pool villas, while the residences will include apartments and beachfront villas. Facilities will include multiple dining venues, wellness and leisure offerings and family-focused amenities.
