Event to take place 14 to 17 September
Arabian Travel Market (ATM) has been rescheduled to 14 to 17 September 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), after the global travel trade show was previously moved from May to August because of disruption linked to the Iran conflict.
The event had originally been scheduled to take place from 4 to 7 May 2026 before being moved to 17 to 20 August.
Danielle Curtis, Regional Portfolio Director of UAE at RX Global, said: “We have been listening and working closely with our exhibitors, partners and stakeholders from across the global travel industry, and the decision to move the event reflects that ongoing dialogue and collaboration.”
Curtis added that the revised dates would allow exhibitors, buyers and visitors from around the world to maximise participation and engagement at the event.
The 2026 edition will take place under the theme ‘Travel 2040: Driving New Frontiers Through Innovation and Technology’, with travel technology, sustainability, luxury tourism and cruise industry growth expected to be major focus areas.
Among the key additions planned for this year’s event is the full-scale debut of ATM Travel Tech, a co-located event spanning two halls with 180 exhibitors from 30 countries. The showcase will feature developments in artificial intelligence, virtual reality, augmented reality, robotics, fintech and sustainability, alongside immersive demonstrations at the Tech & Innovation Hub.

Organisers have also confirmed a new ultra luxury lounge targeting high-net-worth (UHNW) travellers, alongside expanded networking opportunities and conference sessions across three dedicated stages. Returning features include IBTM @ ATM, the dedicated MICE platform featuring hosted buyers, pre-scheduled meetings and an Experience Stage programme focused on business events and destination marketing.
ATM remains one of the Middle East’s largest travel trade exhibitions, bringing together destinations, airlines, hotels, tourism boards, travel technology providers and hospitality companies from around the world. The 2025 edition recorded a 16% rise in participation, attracting more than 55,000 travel professionals from 166 countries alongside 2,800 exhibitors, according to organisers.
The latest schedule change comes as several aviation and travel companies across the Middle East continue revising operations following months of disruption linked to the Iran conflict.
Airlines including British Airways, Swiss International Air Lines, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Cathay Pacific have all recently adjusted Gulf and wider regional schedules because of airspace restrictions and operational challenges.
