Aroya’s first Greek Island sailing of 2026 departs

Aroya Cruises has launched its first Greek Islands itinerary of the 2026 Mediterranean season, with departures available between June and September 2026.

Departing from Galataport Cruise Terminal in Istanbul, Aroya is sailing on a seven-night voyage calling at Bodrum in Türkiye and Greek islands Rhodes, Mykonos and Piraeus, the main port of Athens. The itinerary features extended port stays, with departures from most destinations scheduled between 10pm and 11pm, giving guests more time to explore after many day visitors and cruise ships have departed.

The cruise liner is also operating a second seven-night route focused on Türkiye and Egypt. Designed as a visa-free option for travellers from several source markets, the sailing visits Kaş, Marmaris and Bodrum in Türkiye, alongside Alexandria in Egypt. Selected departures allow guests to embark and disembark in Alexandria as part of the itinerary.

The Mediterranean season will conclude on 12 September with an eight-night repositioning voyage from Istanbul to Jeddah via Türkiye and Egypt. On its return, Aroya will begin a winter programme of shorter Red Sea cruises calling at Aqaba in Jordan, Yanbu in Saudi Arabia, Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt and Cruise Saudi’s private island destination, Jabal Al-Sabaya.

The launch follows Aroya Cruises’ recent partnership with Lufthansa City Center International (LCCI), giving the Saudi cruise line access to one of the world’s largest independent travel agency networks to support international sales.

Operated by Cruise Saudi and backed by Saudi’sPublic Investment Fund (PIF), Aroya has welcomed more than 122,000 guests across its first two Red Sea seasons.
