Additional treatment rooms and medi-spa services planned
Azamara Cruises will upgrade the onboard spa experience across its four-ship fleet, introducing new treatment rooms, physician-led medi-spa services and expanded wellness retail as part of its Azamara Forward fleet enhancement programme.
The enhancements, delivered in partnership with OneSpaWorld, will be rolled out as each ship enters its scheduled dry dock. Azamara Pursuit will receive the first refurbishment from 18 August 2026, followed by Azamara Quest from 25 November 2026, with the remaining ships scheduled for upgrades during 2027.
The Sanctum Spa will expand with two additional rooms on each ship, including a couples’ suite and a private treatment area. Guests will have access to physician-led medi-spa services including Thermage skin tightening, Restylane dermal fillers, Dysport wrinkle treatments, microneedling and intravenous (IV) therapies. A new wellness retail section will also offer Elemis, Kérastase, Jou Chinese Herbs and Good Feet products for purchase.

Claudio Sammartano, Head of Onboard Revenue at Azamara Cruises, said: “OneSpaWorld has been a trusted partner to Azamara for almost 20 years and together we have continually challenged ourselves to elevate the onboard wellness experience.”
The latest spa upgrades build on Azamara Forward, the cruise line’s fleet enhancement programme. Earlier this year, Chief Executive Officer Dondra Ritzenthaler said the investment would modernise public spaces and staterooms while introducing new suite categories, a Chef’s Table dining experience and upgraded guest facilities across its four ships.
Azamara has also unveiled plans for 23 golf-focused voyages for 2028 in partnership with Premier Golf, combining sailings with rounds at championship courses worldwide.
