Azamara Cruises has launched a new collection of overland tours for 2027, allowing guests to extend select voyages with multi-day inland journeys across Asia, Africa, South America and the South Pacific.
Available on select sailings throughout the year across the fleet, the programme enables guests to disembark the ship for two- to five-day inland excursions before rejoining later in the voyage. Each journey includes accommodation, transfers and guided tours, alongside select meals and flights where required.
Key 2027 highlights include a three-day stay in an overwater bungalow in Bora Bora, a four-day journey to Peru’s Machu Picchu and a five-day itinerary combining Cambodia’s Angkor Wat with Vietnam’s colonial-era Hanoi. In China, guests can choose between multi-day programmes featuring landmarks such as Xi’an’s Terracotta Warriors and Beijing’s Great Wall and Forbidden City. Additional destinations include Morocco, Egypt and the UK.

Tours can be booked when reserving a cruise or added later, with early booking recommended due to limited availability. Guests can also use onboard credit (OBCs) for eligible tours.
The launch builds on Azamara’s recently announced 2027 Alaska Cruisetours, combining cruises with land journeys across Alaska and Western Canada. The itineraries will operate from June to August as the cruise line returns to Alaska after a seven-year absence.
Azamara has also opened bookings for its 2028 World Cruise aboard Azamara Onward. Set to depart Port Miami, US, on 5 January, the 175-day voyage will visit 40 countries across six continents. The itinerary will be split into 14 regional segments, allowing guests to book shorter sailings within the wider journey.
