Services halted until 1 August 2026
British Airways has delayed the resumption of flights to Dubai, Doha and Tel Aviv until 1 August 2026 as international airlines continue adjusting schedules following regional airspace disruptions linked to the Iran conflict.
Flights between London Heathrow and Dubai will be reduced from three daily services to one, with a second daily frequency scheduled to return from 16 October. Services to Doha, Riyadh and Tel Aviv have also been cut to one daily flight when operations resume.
Flights to Bahrain and Amman will remain suspended for the rest of the summer schedule, which ends on 24 October. The airline also confirmed recently that it would permanently discontinue flights to Jeddah following an operational review.

A spokesperson for the carrier said the latest schedule changes were introduced to provide “greater clarity” for customers, adding that affected passengers are being offered alternative travel options.
The latest adjustments come as several international airlines continue revising Gulf and wider regional schedules following ongoing airspace restrictions and operational disruption. Swiss International Air Lines recently extended the suspension of flights between Zurich and Dubai until and including 13 September 2026, while KLM Royal Dutch Airlines extended cancellations on routes to Riyadh, Dammam and Dubai through 14 June 2026. Cathay Pacific was also among carriers to adjust regional operations during the disruption period.
The airline introduced a new lounge concept at Dubai International Airport (DXB) Terminal 1 featuring redesigned hospitality and dining spaces tailored to regional travellers.
