Crystal reveals name of new ship

Crystal Cruises has revealed the name of its new luxury ocean ship, Crystal Grace – the line’s first new-build vessel in 25 years and the first developed under Abercrombie & Kent Travel Group ownership.

Set for delivery in May 2028, Crystal Grace will make its inaugural voyage on 11 June following a series of preview sailings. The launch season will open for sale in April 2026, with a waiting list available in advance.

The name ‘Grace’ was chosen to reflect the ship’s refined aesthetic and elegant onboard experience, as well as the graceful way Crystal’s vessels navigate the seas, according to the line.

As part of the reveal campaign, a digital word game invited followers across Crystal’s social media channels to guess the ship’s name before the official unveiling.

Designed to accommodate 650 guests based on double occupancy, Crystal Grace will feature all-suite accommodations, extensive entertainment options and several world-class dining venues. These include Umi Uma – the only Nobu restaurant at sea – Beefbar and Osteria d’Ovidio, which showcases menus by the Michelin-starred Alajmo brothers, all included in the voyage fare. 

Among other highlights, the ship will feature a full wraparound promenade and offer one of the highest crew-to-guest ratios in its segment, ensuring the personalised service and attention to detail for which the brand is known.

On land, Abercrombie & Kent’s global network of destination management companies will curate bespoke experiences and exclusive events in destinations around the world, a capability unique within the cruise industry.
