Guests only discover the resort name after booking
Dnata Travel has partnered with a luxury Maldives resort to relaunch its Secret Stays campaign, offering travellers a holiday where the property’s identity remains hidden until after booking is confirmed.
The campaign reflects a broader shift in travel behaviour, with UAE travellers increasingly relying on expert guidance to navigate a growing range of accommodation options, particularly in destinations such as the Maldives where the vast variety of resort choices can make planning more complex.
Recent Dnata Travel booking data also revealed the Maldives as the most popular international destination among UAE travellers this summer, accounting for around 20% of overseas hotel bookings. Thailand and Mauritius followed in second and third place respectively, highlighting continued demand for island escapes.

Meerah Ketait, Head of Retail and Leisure UAE at Dnata Travel, said: “The Maldives is a destination where many travellers turn to our experts for guidance, simply because there are so many resorts to choose from.
“Secret Stays Maldives removes that complexity. Customers can book with confidence, knowing they are securing exceptional value at a quality resort, while enjoying the excitement of a surprise reveal.”
Secret Stays Maldives is available to book until 31 July 2026, for travel until 30 September 2026. Packages start from AED2,590 (US$530) per adult for a three-night luxury stay, with the resort revealed only after the booking is confirmed. The package includes speedboat transfers, complimentary floating breakfast, daily house reef boat trips, plus additional benefits and discounts.
First introduced almost a decade ago for UAE staycations, Secret Stays has since expanded to include international holiday experiences.
