Employee engagement score rises to 74% in latest benchmark
Dubai Airports has been recognised in Gallup’s 2026 Exceptional Workplace Awards, marking the only aviation hub to be featured in the list. The organisation recorded a 74% employee engagement score, up from 71% in 2025.
The recognition places Dubai Airports among a select group of international employers recognised for workplace engagement and talent development standards, with Gallup’s 2026 assessment drawing on data from more than 27 million respondents across more than200 countries.
Meshari Al Bannai, Chief People Officer of Dubai Airports, linked the recognition to operational performance across both Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Dubai World Central – Al Maktoum International (DWC).
“This award recognises that the way we lead, develop and empower our people directly shapes how our airports perform and how our guests experience Dubai,” he said
Al Bannai further emphasised that Dubai Airports continue investing in leadership development, workforce training and internal progression pathways as part of its long-term growth strategy.

The recognition comes as DXB builds on a record 2025, when the airport handled 95 million passengers and retained its position as the world’s second busiest airport overall, according to Airports Council International (ACI) data.
DXB recorded several traffic milestones throughout 2025, including its busiest-ever month in December when passenger traffic reached 8.7 million, up 6.1% year-on-year. Passenger traffic also surpassed 46 million during the first half of the year and reached 70.1 million across the first nine months.
