Dubai-based carrier again wins UK passenger votes for service, space and network
Emirates has reclaimed its title as Best Long Haul Airline at the Telegraph Travel Awards 2025, outpacing global rivals such as All Nippon Airways, Singapore Airlines and Virgin Atlantic.
This marks another win for the Dubai-based airline, which secured the same accolade in 2023 and was named World’s Best Airline in 2024.
More than 20,000 UK-based Telegraph readers voted in the 2025 awards, recognising Emirates not just for its extensive UK network of 133 weekly flights across six major UK cities but also for outstanding performance across 30 metrics, from punctuality and baggage allowance to in-flight meals and value of its rewards programme.
UK flight searches on emirates.com have risen 12% year-on-year, driven by strong demand for long-haul destinations such as New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Sri Lanka and Mauritius.
This latest accolade follows on from Emirates’ impressive showing at the 2025 Skytrax World Airline Awards, where it was ranked the world’s fourth best airline and also earned top honours for being the world’s best family-friendly airline and having the world’s best first class and inflight entertainment.
