Dubai-based carrier to operate 21 weekly flights to Kenyan capital from 1 March 2026
Emirates will launch a third daily service to Nairobi starting from 1 March 2026.
Aiming to strengthen two-way connectivity between Nairobi and key cities across Africa, Europe and the US, Emirates has introduced early morning arrival and departure times for the new service. Building on its interline partnership with Kenya Airways, the revised schedule also aligns with KQ-operated flights, enabling passengers to connect seamlessly to regional destinations such as Rwanda, Tanzania, Mozambique and Burundi.
The new service will depart Dubai International Airport (DXB) at 00:55 and arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) at 05:05. The return flight will leave Nairobi at 06:50 and land in Dubai at 12:50. The airline will operate this rotation with a Boeing 777 in a three-class configuration, making Emirates the only UAE carrier to offer First Class to Nairobi.

This new rotation adds to Emirates’ existing schedule of two daily flights between Dubai and Nairobi. The first daily service departs Dubai at 10:30 and arrives in Nairobi at 14:40, while the second leaves Dubai at 15:20 and lands at 19:35.
On the return leg, the first flight from Nairobi to Dubai departs at 16:45 and arrives at 22:45, with the second service leaving Nairobi at 22:45 and reaching Dubai at 04:45 the following day. In total, the airline will operate 21 weekly flights to the Kenyan capital.
The expanded services to Nairobi comes as Emirates marks 30 years of operations to Kenya in October 2025. Since its inaugural flight in 1995, the airline has carried more than 6 million passengers to and from the country.
Emirates continues to expand its presence in Kenya, launching the first Emirates World store in Nairobi in 2024, marking the airline’s retail debut in Africa.
