Emirates to add third daily flight to Phuket

Emirates is adding a third daily flight on its Dubai–Phuket route, increasing capacity to one of Southeast Asia’s key leisure destinations.

Thailand continues to see strong demand and ranks among the top outbound destinations for GCC travellers, according to the 2026 Connecting Travel Insight Report. The additional service supports growing summer travel demand.

The new service departs Dubai International Airport (DXB) at 22:40, arriving at Phuket International Airport (HKT) at 08:10 the following day. The return flight departs Phuket at 10:00, arriving in Dubai at 13:05.

Operated by an Airbus A350-900, the new service introduces Emirates’ Premium Economy cabin to Phuket for the first time, with a three-class configuration featuring 32 Business Class seats, 28 Premium Economy seats and 238 Economy Class seats.

The addition brings Emirates’ total services to Phuket to 21 weekly flights, operated by a mix of Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 aircraft. The late-night departure from Dubai has been designed to improve onward connections for passengers travelling from London, Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Manchester, Kuwait and Bahrain. 

The carrier continues to expand its global network, increasing capacity on high-demand routes, most recently adding more flights to Cape Town and Accra in Africa. The airline is also rolling out a range of next-generation airport lounges across multiple cities, investing AED50 million (US$13.6 million) in each location. Upgrades will include more workspaces and redesigned dining areas.
