Etihad Guest rolls out discounted pricing for premium members

Etihad Guest has introduced new benefits for its highest-tier members, offering reduced mileage requirements on reward flights.

The Abu Dhabi-based carrier is offering discounts of up to 10% on standard Promo seat fares for Gold, Platinum and Emerald members. Promo seats, available across Etihad’s global network, allow members to redeem flights at fixed mileage rates. 

Mark Potter, Managing Director Etihad Guest, said: “Introducing exclusive discounts allows us to ensure our members enjoy greater value and more rewarding redemption opportunities, aligning with what our members appreciate the most.”

The incentive comes as Etihad adjusts its loyalty programme to support member retention and progression. In March 2026, the airline reduced tier qualification thresholds by 25%, allowing members to move through status levels with fewer mileage or segment requirements.

The changes coincide with broader network expansion, including new routes across mainland China and Africa, alongside a codeshare agreement with Air Cambodia to strengthen connectivity across Southeast Asia.

Premium cabins with upgraded interiors are launching across all Mumbai and New Delhi services, with four daily flights to each city, expanding Promo seat availability.
