New fleet will offer First Suites on short- and medium-haul flights
Etihad Airways, the UAE’s national carrier, has debuted its all-new A321LR aircraft on flight EY414 from Zayed International Airport (AUH) to Phuket (HKT) on Friday 1 August 2025.
The aircraft brings Etihad’s signature widebody experience to a narrowbody model operating short- and medium-haul routes with premium cabins typically found only on long-haul flights.
The Etihad A321LR features a full premium cabin layout. The First Suites comprise flat beds, a 20-inch 4K screen, wireless charging and Bluetooth connectivity, along with signature Etihad First service onboard and on the ground.
In Business, there are 14 herringbone-configured seats with direct aisle access and window views, 17.3-inch 4K display screens, wireless charging and Bluetooth connectivity.

Economy comprises 144 ergonomically-designed seats with generous legroom, 13.3-inch 4K touchscreens, USB charging and Bluetooth headphone pairing, and a diverse entertainment library to cater to viewers of every age.
The next-gen A321LR aircraft, the first of 30 such jets to join the fleet, also offers high-speed connectivity across all cabins.
