Dubai carrier strengthens European network with new link
UAE carrier Flydubai has launched an interline agreement with Cyprus Airways, expanding connectivity across the Mediterranean, Africa and Middle East.
Under the agreement, travellers flying from Larnaca with Cyprus Airways will gain access to Flydubai destinations including Almaty, Colombo, Kathmandu, Kuwait City, Malé, Madinah and Riyadh, with stopovers in Dubai.
The partnership allows passengers to travel on a single itinerary with baggage checked through to their final destination and transfers via Dubai International (DXB) airport.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, Chief Executive Officer at Flydubai, said: “Partnerships like these are essential to ensuring we continue to meet the evolving needs of customers and create more free flows of trade and tourism across the markets we serve.”
The move expands Flydubai’s interline network, which now includes more than 40 airlines. The carrier also operates a codeshare with Emirates, enhancing its global reach via Dubai.
The agreement comes as Flydubai continues to add new routes. The airline recently announced flights between Dubai and Benghazi in Libya starting 17 June 2026, alongside the launch of daily Bangkok services from 1 July as its second destination in Thailand after Krabi.
