DoubleTree and Tapestry brands will add 1,767 new keys to Saudi Arabia’s Holy City
Hilton has partnered with Wirgan Hospitality to rebrand two of its upcoming hotels in Makkah (Mecca), Saudi Arabia, a collaboration recently revealed during WTM 2025 in London.
Hilton will add Wirgan Al Noor, Tapestry Collection and DoubleTree Makkah Aziziyah to its Makkah portfolio by year-end, raising its total room count in the Holy City to more than 4,100 keys.
Wirgan Al Noor will mark the debut of Hilton’s Tapestry Collection brand in the Holy City, featuring 1,386 rooms alongside facilities including a fitness centre, a kids’ club and multiple dining outlets.
Shuttle services to Al Masjid Al Haram will be available for pilgrims and key landmarks such as Jabal Al Noor, Zamzam Well and Al-Zaher Palace Museum are within close proximity.
Hilton is also strengthening its presence in eastern Makkah with the 381-room DoubleTree by Hilton Aziziyah, which will feature multiple dining venues, a business centre and a kids’ club. The property is located near religious sites such as Mina and Jamarat, with regular transport services to Haram.
