Silversea Cruises has completed an extensive refurbishment of Silver Muse in Palermo, Italy, marking the ship’s first major dry dock since its launch in 2017. The revamp introduces the cruise line’s acclaimed S.A.L.T (Sea And Land Taste) culinary programme, alongside enhancements to public spaces and expanded suite options.
Following the renovations, Silver Muse embarked on a 14-night sailing from Barcelona to Lisbon in December 2025. Guests onboard this sailing were the first to experience the upgraded ship, including the debut of S.A.L.T Kitchen & Bar, which offers destination-inspired menus and signature cocktails. Enhancements across other dining venues include new tea selections at Arts Café, an enriched poolside menu at The Grill and the introduction of a tableside martini cart at Italian restaurant La Terrazza.
In-suite upgrades include enhanced dinner menus served by butlers, as well as refreshed interiors in the Medallion Suites, which feature private verandas and separate bedroom areas. Elsewhere, guests can now enjoy new recreational facilities, including a pickleball court, putting green and an upgraded pool deck.
Bert Hernandez, President of Silversea, said: “By introducing our acclaimed S.A.L.T. program and elevating key spaces, we are enriching the intimacy, elegance and culinary immersion that define Silversea. These enhancements reflect our guests’ feedback and our dedication to bringing more of what they love — enriching every voyage with culture and flavour.”
