InterContinental Grand Ankara hotel opens in Türkiye’s capital

InterContinental Grand Ankara has opened in Türkiye, marking IHG Hotels & Resorts’ brand expansion in the country’s capital. The opening follows an extensive transformation of the former Grand Ankara Hotel, which originally launched in 1966.

Located in Ankara’s diplomatic and business district, the hotel offers proximity to landmarks including the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Anıtkabir and Ankara Castle, while Esenboğa Airport (ESB) is a 40-minute drive away.

The property features 342 rooms and suites, alongside Luxury Apartment Suites designed for extended stays, complete with fully equipped kitchens and expansive living spaces.

Dining venues include LOQQANTA 06, led by Gault&Millau award-winner Chef Emre İnanır, and The Lobby Bar. Wellness is anchored by a 1,500-square-metre spa featuring indoor-outdoor pools, while event facilities include three ballrooms for up to 1,200 guests and 15 meeting rooms.
