Family-friendly property set for debut in The Heart of Europe in 2026
Kleindienst Group, the company behind The Heart of Europe development off the coast of Dubai, will expand its Riviera-inspired portfolio with the debut of Hôtel Cannes on the World Islands in 2026.
Located within the Côte d’Azur Hotel cluster, the new property will bring a family-friendly concept to the UAE, joining voco Dubai Monaco and voco Dubai Nice as part of Kleindienst’s AED 18.3 billion master development, which will ultimately comprise 20 hotels and resorts with more than 5,000 keys.
Expected to open in Q3 2026, Hôtel Cannes will reinterpret the glamour of Cannes’ golden era through a design that balances European elegance with the relaxed pace of coastal living.
The 215-key property will feature sea-facing rooms and suites with interiors inspired by the French Riviera, defined by turquoise and sand tones, light wood finishes, natural linens and handcrafted ceramics.
At the centre of the hotel will be a lively Marché, designed to evoke Cannes’ famous Marché Forville and creating a vibrant social hub for guests.
The space will host artisanal bakeries, an oyster and champagne counter, a cheese and charcuterie area and a rotating selection of European food concepts, including a pizza truck.

Commenting on the upcoming opening, Parisa Seif, Managing Partner at Kleindienst Group, said: “The new design of Hôtel Cannes reflects our focus on bringing thoughtful, design-led hospitality to Dubai.
"By combining the timeless glamour of the French Riviera with modern craftsmanship and warmth, we’re creating a hotel that feels both European in spirit and authentic to its coastal setting.”
Part of The Heart of Europe’s vision to deliver an authentic slice of European lifestyle to the UAE, future projects include hotels celebrating St Tropez and Cannes, waterfront villas inspired by Bauhaus architecture on Germany Island, and the Floating Lido – an underwater vessel resort inspired by Venice.
The destination already includes standout properties such as the Côte d’Azur Monaco Hotel, which opened in 2022, and the Portofino Hotel, with additional resorts including Nice, Cannes, St Tropez and The Floating Seahorse Villas scheduled to follow.
Among upcoming additions, the 150-key Marbella Resort Hotel, Vignette Collection will bring a Costa del Sol-inspired experience to Dubai when it opens in 2026, complete with a one-kilometre climate-controlled street where it rains daily, and an après-ski bar linked to a snow plaza.
By 2027, Buddha-Bar Hotel and Buddha-Bar Beach will also open within The Heart of Europe, introducing 162 overwater villas alongside beachfront dining and entertainment experiences.
