London landmark to open as Waldorf Astoria hotel

Dining will be led by Michelin-lauded chefs Clare Smyth and Daniel Boulud. Smyth’s signature restaurant, Coreus, will focus on seafood, while Café Boulud will offer all-day rooftop dining overlooking St James’ Park and Buckingham Palace.

The hotel’s spa will offer Waldorf Astoria’s signature wellness experience, complete with a hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room and couples’ treatment rooms. Meanwhile, event spaces include a 3,540-square-foot ballroom with a statement nine-metre antique Murano chandelier from Rome and capacity for up to 300 guests.

The hotel will mark Waldorf Astoria’s debut in London as Hilton continues to expand its luxury portfolio across the UK. Alongside Waldorf Astoria, the hospitality group recently opened The Derby London City, Curio Collection by Hilton in early 2026. The 234-key property, housed in a former office building on Great Tower Street, offers proximity to landmarks including the Tower of London and The Shard.
