Minor Hotels sees Middle East bookings surge 143% in late June

Minor Hotels has reported a sharp rebound in travel demand across the Middle East, with room-night bookings surging 143% in the final full week of June 2026 as traveller confidence returned across key regional and international markets.

The hospitality group, which operates 26 hotels and resorts across the Middle East, said most of the increase was driven by bookings for Q3 of 2026. Domestic demand remained strong, with staycations and intra-GCC travel helping Minor record a 23% increase in Eid Al Adha revenue compared with the 2025 holiday period.

Demand from tour operators and travel partners also rebounded, with bookings increasing 575% during the same period, led by key international markets including the UK, Germany and Russia.

Looking ahead, the outlook for the third quarter also remains strong, with forward average daily rate (ADR) pacing 17.1% ahead of the same period last year as demand continues to build.

Minor continues to expand its Middle East portfolio, most recently signing an agreement with the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) to manage the Sharjah Collection, adding seven nature-led and heritage-inspired retreats across the emirate. The group’s upcoming Middle East openings include NH Collection’s Middle East debut in Riyadh, NH Collection Ras Al Khaimah Al Marjan Island Hotel & Apartments and Avani and Tivoli resorts at Bilaj Al Jazayer in Bahrain.
