Global operator to manage seven nature-led retreats
Minor Hotels will take over the management and operations of Sharjah Collection, the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority’s (Shurooq) portfolio of nature-led and heritage-inspired retreats across the emirate, under a new strategic partnership.
Under the agreement, Minor Hotels will manage seven retreats spanning Sharjah’s desert, coastal, mountain and heritage landscapes. The group will bring its global distribution network and commercial and operational expertise, while aiming to preserve the collection’s focus on sustainability, cultural authenticity and destination-led hospitality.
Sharjah Collection comprises Al Badayer Retreat, Al Faya Retreat, Kingfisher Retreat, Moon Retreat, Najd Al Meqsar, Al Rayaheen Retreat and Nomad. Together, the seven retreats offer more than 150 accommodation units across the emirate, with experiences ranging from luxury desert stays and eco-retreats to restored heritage homes and off-grid escapes.
