Operations to start on 2 July 2026 with four weekly services
Oman Air, the Sultanate’s national airline, is set to launch the first-ever non-stop route between Muscat and Singapore. Starting 2 July 2026, the carrier will operate four weekly services, Thursday through Sunday.
The service will depart Muscat International Airport (MCT) at 08:00, arriving in Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) at 19:50. The return leg will leave Singapore at 20:50 and reach Muscat at 00:10 the following day.
Flight duration is expected to be seven hours and the route will be serviced by a Boeing 737 Max aircraft featuring Business and Economy class cabins.
While the non-stop service is new for Oman Air, the airline previously accommodated passengers travelling to and from Singapore via onward connections through Bangkok and Malaysia, under codeshare agreements with Thai Airways and Malaysia Airlines.

Singapore will be Oman Air’s sixth Far East Asia destination, alongside Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok, Phuket, Jakarta and Manila. Globally, the airline flies to more than 40 destinations across Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
Commenting on the new service, Con Korfiatis, Chief Executive Officer of Oman Air, said: “With demand growing for distinctive destinations and high-quality travel experiences, this service expands choice for both leisure and business travellers.
“It also reinforces Muscat’s role as an important hub between East and West, enabling efficient connectivity between Asia-Pacific markets and Europe, complemented by our oneworld partners.”
In addition to expanding its international roster, the airline has recently launched loyalty programme collaborations with Qantas and Turkish Airlines, enabling members of Oman Air’s Sindabad to earn and redeem points when flying across all three carriers.
