Oman's first St Regis hotel now open

St Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort is home to the country's only Guerlain Spa

Marriott's St Regis brand has debuted in Oman with the opening of St Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort.

Positioned on the shores of the Al Mouj waterfront, the resort has direct access to a secluded sand beach and views across the greens of the adjacent, award-winning golf course.

The hotel features 250 rooms, suites and one- to three-bedroom duplexes, which have ocean, golf course or city views. They feature private balconies, walk-in wardrobes, large bathrooms and luxurious amenities, and the space is enhanced with natural light filtering through floor-to-ceiling windows.

The legendary St Regis Butler Service, a hallmark of the brand for more than a century, is also available. 

The hotel's USP is being home to first Guerlain Spa in the country, with a menu inspired by Omani philosophy and traditions

Fitness and recreation facilities also include a gym, multiple swimming pools, a beach lined with plush loungers and cabanas, a padel court, and access to Al Mouj Golf course, designed by Australian golfer Greg Norman, plus personal training and yoga sessions.

The resort's curved superyacht-style architecture draws inspiration from the surrounding environment, featuring a wave design. 

The hotel's art collection includes works from renowned Omani artists including Anwar Sonya, Alia Al Farsi, Sami Al Syabi, Hassan Meer, Budoor Al Riyami and calligraphy expert Fahad Al Balushi, alongside prominent international artists such as Arne Quinze, Barnaby Barford, Lorenzo Quinn, Zhuang Hong Yi and Rana Begum.

St Regis Al Mouj Muscat Resort has nine F&B outlets, including branchs of famous restaurants Em Sherif, Roberto’s, Coya, Novikov Café and Michelin-star-winning Hakkasan.
