Qatar to draw global culinary talent with World Class Chefs initiative

The two-year programme will host high-profile chefs from around the world

Qatar Tourism – in collaboration with Qatar Airways, Qatar Aircraft Catering Company (QACC) and Kings of Kitchen – is organising Qatar’s ‘World Class Chefs’ initiative. 

The aim of the initiative is to introduce leading culinary talent to Qatar as an emerging gastronomy hub and explore investment opportunities.

The first guest chef to participate is Julien Roucheteau from France, best known for crafting the menu of La Table du Lancaster, a restaurant in the heart of Paris that was awarded a Michelin Star while he was at the helm. 

Roucheteau will host a series of Chef’s Table sessions from 26 to 30 October 2021 at Izu restaurant at Mandarin Oriental Doha in Msheireb Downtown. The seatings will take place from 6pm to 8pm and from 8.30pm to 10pm.
