RAK's Rixos Bab Al Bahr hotel appoints new GM

Rixos Bab Al Bahr, the all-inclusive family resort on Ras Al Khaimah’s (RAK) Al Marjan Island, has appointed Ozgur Cireli as its new General Manager. 

 

With more than three decades of experience, he joins the resort following his tenure as GM at KeyUrla in Türkiye, where he successfully led the property’s opening. 

 

Cireli has held senior leadership roles across major international brands including Hilton, Radisson Blu, Wyndham, Rotana and Rixos, gaining experience in diverse markets such as Türkiye, Kuwait, Ukraine, Germany, France, the UK and the UAE.

 

Throughout his career, Cireli has worked across various areas of hotel operations, including pre-openings, large-scale renovations and market expansions. At Rixos Bab Al Bahr, he will oversee the ongoing refurbishment project while managing the property’s strategy, operations, KPIs and guest experience.

Cireli is well-acquainted with the UAE hospitality landscape, having previously served as Assistant General Manager at Rixos The Palm Dubai. During this position, he improved guest satisfaction by 40% and generated US$190,000 (AED697,700) in revenue within the first 10 weeks of operations.
