G-force and zero-gravity experiences planned from 2026
Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) will launch astronaut training and commercial spaceflight experiences in 2026 as the emirate moves into the growing space tourism sector through a partnership between Action Flight Aviation and Blinc Space.
The programme, expected to launch in the second half of 2026, will include G-force training, aerobatic flight operations, aviation handling experiences and introductory space-readiness activities designed around astronaut preparation concepts. Future phases are expected to introduce fast-jet experiences, advanced free-fall systems and zero-gravity parabolic flights.
Under the agreement, Action Flight Aviation will oversee flight operations and aviation-based training experiences in RAK, while Blinc Space will lead the astronaut training programme, participant experiences and international partnerships.

The move comes as Ras Al Khaimah continues expanding its tourism and aviation infrastructure pipeline while targeting 3.5 million annual visitors and plans to double its hotel inventory by 2030. The emirate’s hospitality pipeline includes developments from Fairmont, Four Seasons and Taj, alongside Wynn Al Marjan Island, the US$5.1 billion integrated resort scheduled to open in 2027.
RAK recorded a 93% rise in domestic tourism in April 2026, driven by increased staycation demand and strong resort occupancy during the Eid Al Fitr period.
Ras Al Khaimah International Airport is also undergoing expansion, with plans for a new passenger terminal, upgraded cargo facilities and aviation infrastructure aimed at supporting long-term tourism growth and international connectivity.
