Eugenie Jason brings more than 20 years of ultra-luxury hotel experience to Saudi Arabia
Shebara has appointed experienced hotelier Eugenie Jason as General Manager of Saudi Arabia’s multi-award-winning Red Sea island resort, which features 73 overwater and beachfront villas.
In her new role, she will lead day-to-day operations and guide the ultra-luxury resort’s strategic direction, with a focus on guest experience, team culture and operational excellence, plus oversee the island’s five signature dining destinations.
Jason brings more than 20 years of international hospitality experience across ultra-luxury properties, including 14 years with Four Seasons, Marriott International and Belmond, where she previously served as GM of Belmond’s Les Bateaux in France.

Most of her career has been spent working across properties in the US, Canada and French Polynesia, serving as GM at MUIR Hotel in Nova Scotia and in managerial roles across Four Seasons’ properties in Quebec, Beverley Hills and on the island of Bora Bora.
Holding a European master’s in hospitality management from Vatel Hospitality Management School, she brings a leadership style that blends commercial acumen with a strong people focus. In her new role at Shebara, she will play a key part in building and mentoring high-performing teams and nurturing Saudi talent.
Eugenie’s appointment follows a big year for Shebara, having been honoured with two Michelin Keys and numerous other design awards.
Opening its doors in November 2024 as the first fully owned and operated property by Red Sea Global (RSG), Shebara on Shaybara Island in the Red Sea, just 25km from the Saudi mainland, was conceived by architect Shaun Killa Design, the creative genius behind Dubai’s Museum of the Future.
The resort, noted for its futuristic stainless-steel villas that appear like a string of pearls over the water, has earned multiple design innovation accolades, including recognition among Time Magazine’s World’s Greatest Places of 2025 and selection in the Prix Versailles 2025 World’s Most Beautiful list. The resort has its own water desalination and treatment plant and is powered by 100% renewable energy from a solar farm.
