Group to bring its lifestyle brand to high-growth areas of the capital
UAE-born Rove Hotels is expanding into Saudi Arabia with a series of new properties planned across Riyadh, marking the brand’s debut in the kingdom.
The expansion follows a strategic partnership with Riyadh-based developer Rafal Real Estate Development Company. The collaboration will see Rove’s contemporary, lifestyle-driven hospitality concept introduced to prime, high-growth areas of the capital, with the first hotel set to open on Olaya Street.
Future locations will be strategically positioned to serve both business and leisure travellers, reflecting Riyadh’s growing appeal as a global destination.
The rollout in Riyadh is only the beginning, as Rove and Rafal’s agreement lays the foundation for further expansion into other fast-growing cities across the kingdom.

Elias Abou Samra, CEO of Rafal Real Estate Development Company, said: “We are delighted to introduce one of the region’s smartest hotel concepts to Riyadh. Our confidence stems from the depth and track record of Rove Hotels in tailoring hospitality for regional guests, and from the strong connectivity between Riyadh and Dubai that underpins sustained demand from both leisure and business travellers.”
Paul Bridger, COO of Rove Hotels, added: “We are looking forward to bringing our blend of style, value and convenience to Saudi Arabia’s vibrant and rapidly evolving hospitality landscape.”
This partnership arrives as Riyadh’s hotel sector surges in growth, currently approaching 50,000 hotel keys with projections of 70,000–80,000 by 2030, driven by the city’s mega projects such as New Murabba Downtown, Diriyah, and entertainment destination Six Flags Qiddiya City, set for a 31 December opening.
Founded in Dubai as a joint venture between Emaar Properties and Dubai Holding, Rove Hotels has more than 8,000 keys in operation or under development, mostly within the UAE. Its latest opening, Rove Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah, features 441 rooms plus leisure amenities including an outdoor cinema and private beachfront.
The Rove brand is defined by its smart, vibrant design, seamless and fuss-free service culture.
