Royal Caribbean appoints executive to lead Asia Pacific operations

Royal Caribbean has promoted its President of Greater China, Ben Bouldin, to President of China & Managing Director of Asia, expanding his remit to oversee the cruise line’s wider Asia Pacific operations.

 

In his new role, Bouldin will oversee growth across key markets, including Singapore and Southeast Asia, as Royal Caribbean continues expanding its presence in the region.

 

Bouldin joined Royal Caribbean in 2014, now marking more than a decade of his career with the company. He has held senior leadership positions across the UK and Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), overseeing sales, marketing and commercial operations. 

 

Prior to joining Royal Caribbean, Bouldin held roles at PepsiCo International, focusing primarily on the UK and Ireland markets.

The appointment comes as Royal Caribbean expands its Asia deployment, having recently opened bookings for its 2027-28 sailings from China and Singapore.

 

As part of the programme, Spectrum of the Seas will operate itineraries ranging from three to 11 nights, with ports of call at a record 22 destinations across East Asia. Meanwhile, Quantum of the Seas will offer three- to 10-night voyages from Singapore to destinations including Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Japan.
