Deliveries planned throughout 2026
Saudi Arabia’s national carrier Saudia is set to receive 12 new aircraft during 2026, taking its fleet size to 161 by year-end as the airline expands capacity and prepares for further network growth.
The deliveries include Airbus A321neo aircraft, following the recent introduction of Saudia’s first Airbus A321XLR. Configured with 20 Business Class and 168 Guest Class seats, the new additions feature upgraded cabin interiors, high-speed inflight connectivity and enhanced onboard amenities.
The expansion forms part of Saudia’s long-term growth strategy and will increase capacity as the airline continues boosting its international network and strengthening connectivity between Saudi and international markets.
Ibrahim Al-Omar, Director General of Saudia Group, said: “Saudia’s fleet expansion strategy reflects a disciplined approach to building the capacity, efficiency, and readiness needed for the airline’s next phase of growth.”

The fleet expansion follows a series of recent growth initiatives. The airline added eight seasonal summer destinations to its network across Europe and the Middle East, including Málaga, Spain; Nice, France; Mykonos, Greece; Bodrum, Türkiye; and Salalah, Oman.
The carrier also introduced integrated air and rail booking with Saudi Arabia Railways, allowing passengers to book flights and train journeys in a single transaction for travel between Makkah and Madinah.
In March 2026, Saudia added 20 extra Eid Al-Fitr flights between Riyadh, Jeddah and the Red Sea destination, increasing services on the route to 44 and boosting capacity by more than 80%.
