Shaza Hotels to open equestrian resort in Riyadh

Shaza Hotels, a UAE-based independent luxury hotel manager, is set to expand its footprint in Saudi Arabia with its latest project, ​​Shaza Riyadh Stables Resort.

 

The project was unveiled at the 2026 Future Hospitality Summit earlier this month, where FSM Hospitality Company was confirmed as the resort’s owner.

 

The new luxury lifestyle equestrian destination will be located in Al Jubaylah, approximately 50km northwest of the capital city, with King Khalid International Airport (RUH) a 40-minute drive from the area. 

 

Spanning 63,500-square-metres, the 120-key resort will offer 30 villas and 90 rooms and suites. Guest facilities will include a clubhouse, coffee lounge and several indoor and outdoor dining venues.

A 100-box equestrian club will anchor the resort’s leisure offering, alongside three professional arenas and dedicated trails for horse riding, cycling and walking. Additional facilities will include a fitness centre, pool, spa, paddle courts and football fields.

Shaza Hotels is expanding its GCC footprint with a pipeline of new properties across the region, including key developments under its Mysk brand such as Mysk Jeddah, Mysk Madinah and the Mysk Muttrah Collection in Muscat. 

 

The expansion comes amid record tourism growth in the kingdom, which welcomed more than 120 million visitors in 2025 and recorded SR304 billion ($81.1 billion) in tourism spending, according to the Ministry of Tourism (MoT).
