Silversea Sales Director exits after 10 years

Silversea Sales Director for the UK, Ireland, Middle East and Africa Connie Georgiou has left the company after a decade with the business.

Georgiou joined the luxury line in 2016 and oversaw key accounts as well as running a team of regional sales managers.

Prior to joining Silversea, she spent 16 years with Avis Budget Group, where she was Head of International Strategic Accounts, having started her career in retail with Thomas Cook.

Silversea Managing Director for the UK and EMEA, Andreas Nuessel, confirmed Georgiou’s departure, saying she had left the business “to pursue other opportunities”.

Currently, Silversea is preparing for its 2026-27 deployment season, with voyages across Asia, Australia, New Zealand, the Caribbean, Central America, Africa and the Indian Ocean. In Asia, itineraries aboard Silver Moon and Silver Muse will visit destinations including Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, Taiwan and the Philippines. Australia and New Zealand sailings will call at the Great Barrier Reef and Hobart in Australia, alongside Bali and Komodo Island in Indonesia.
