Lifestyle-led luxury brand to debut with two properties in 2026

Emerging as a new player in the luxury hospitality landscape, Six & Six Private Islands is poised to make its mark in the Maldives with a collection of distinctive resorts across the islands. Co-founded in 2024 by seasoned hotelier Laith Pharaon, the brand will debut in 2026 with two openings in the South Malé Atoll, followed by four additional properties over the next six years, each conceived as a standalone, individually branded retreat.
Founded on a philosophy of "presence, authenticity and meaningful connection", Six & Six aims to re-centre the guest experience on time, space and a sense of immersion in place. The brand’s lifestyle-led model focuses on removing distraction and ’noise’, enabling guests to shape their stay according to how they want to feel, supported by wellness specialists, creative collaborators and culturally rooted experiences.

Debuting in February 2026, Rah Gili Maldives is located beside a protected dolphin sanctuary and will feature 74 villas, including 37 overwater. The resort blends bold, contemporary design with playful detailing and vibrant social spaces that sit alongside quieter corners for retreat.
Launching in late 2026, Don Maaga Maldives will serve as the brand’s ultra-luxury flagship, introducing signature Terra beach villas and Aethr overwater villas, some extending beyond 1,500sqm. The generous interiors are framed by an architecture of clean lines and restraint, balancing scale with a sense of calm.
Selected villas across the portfolio will offer both saltwater and freshwater pools, open courtyards and semi-precious inlays, as well as secluded zones designed for deep restoration. Don Maaga will also be home to Hirigaa, an invitation-only private island conceived for full-island takeovers, while both Rah Gili and Don Maaga will be reachable via a short speedboat transfer from Velana International Airport.
