New venue offers Mediterranean-inspired dishes and views of the Burj Khalifa
Named after a town on the west coast of Turkey, new restaurant Urla is located on the fountain level at the Address Downtown Dubai hotel.
Channelling the look and feel of the Aegean, Urla’s offering embodies the culinary roots of Spanish, Greek and Turkish cuisine. The menu features fresh produce from both land and sea, with a fresh and artisanal take on traditional dishes. There’s also a focus on sharing dishes that are divided into ‘Share the Sea’ and ‘Share the Mountain’.

Share the Mountain dishes start with Urla’s meze plates and the signature beef carpaccio, infused with rosemary smoke and decorated with figs, pine nuts and apricot jam. More substantial dishes include the braised beef rib served with orzo and seasonal wild mushrooms; tenderloin, served with pan-seared foie gras, caramelised onions and truffle sauce; and the traditional Turkish Tulum cheese erişte served with crushed walnuts.
For diners with a sweet tooth, signature desserts include pineapple catalan brûlée and the Spanish-inspired golden torrija, decorated with gold flakes and served with a creamy vanilla ice cream.
