Hybrid membership merges private flights and charters for seamless Gulf–Europe summers
X-1 Jets has launched what it claims is the world’s first Hybrid Jet & Yacht Card, enabling Middle East ultra-high-net-worth travellers to use a single pre-paid account for both private jet flights and Mediterranean yacht charters.
Designed around the annual summer migration from the Gulf and US to Europe, the product aims to streamline the hop between villas in Ibiza, yachts in Mykonos and hotels in Monaco by replacing multiple contracts and brokers with one advisor and one card.
Under the new programme, clients can purchase a 25-hour or 50-hour JetCard and redeem hours interchangeably across X-1’s global aircraft fleet and a curated portfolio of luxury yachts. There is no requirement to pre-allocate usage between air and sea, allowing members to decide closer to travel whether hours are spent on long-range jets or on day boats and superyachts, subject to card tier and remaining balance.
The hybrid structure means a family might use the same balance for a transatlantic crossing into Nice, a series of intra-Europe legs between Monaco, Sardinia and the Amalfi Coast, and a week cruising the Tyrrhenian Sea, with all logistics handled centrally by X-1’s team.

Based in Monaco with an established presence in Europe, the Middle East, Russia and the US, X-1 Jets has been actively expanding in the Gulf, citing rising private aviation demand from Dubai and wider GCC markets. The new card is tailored to those clients who increasingly view the European summer as an extension of home life rather than a once-a-year holiday, with itineraries that can combine Mykonos, Ibiza, Monaco, London and Geneva in a single season.
The Hybrid Jet & Yacht Card builds on the company’s positioning with a dedicated advisor available 24/7 to coordinate aircraft selection, ground transfers, berth arrangements and last-minute changes across multi-stop European routings.
For Middle East clients juggling villas, hotel suites and yacht charters during peak season, the main appeal lies in administrative simplicity: one contract, one account, one point of contact. Instead of negotiating separate agreements with charter operators and yacht brokers, cardholders can rely on X-1 Jets to secure aircraft as well as an approved fleet of Mediterranean yachts.
