First Look: Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra, Mallorca, Spain

Mandarin Oriental Punta Negra debuts on Mallorca’s southwest coast, marking its third property in Spain. Set within Puerto Portals marina, the resort is close to luxury boutiques, waterfront restaurants and yacht berths. The property is set with the former 1960s Hotel Punta Negra, and offers 131 rooms, including sea view suites and penthouses with rooftop pools. Dining options range from Mediterranean cuisine at Leppoc to Spanish tapas at Sobretaula. In July 2026, the resort will also welcome Leña by Dani García and Matsuhisa, serving the chef’s signature Japanese-Peruvian cuisine. Facilities include a spa with seven indoor and two outdoor treatment rooms, plus cycling, watersports and private yacht excursions for guests.
