Born in the Sudan and brought up in the UK, Naz's experience spans the globe. He started his career with Airtours PLC, a major UK Tour Operator, in Spain and then moved to Jamaica, where he managed the company’s assets on the island for two years.
Naz then joined Holiday Autos in the UK, working with Clive Jacobs to develop the business across Europe and further afield. Following the sale of Holiday Autos to Lastminute.com in 2003, Naz became Managing Director of International Development for the group.
Upon leaving Lastminute.com in 2005 Naz relocated to Dubai where he launched joint ventures with the Travelocity group as well as a travel PR and Marketing business, Gulfreps which he retains today. Other investments and exits have lead to a number of years in Singapore and then Sydney before finally returning to Dubai in 2019
Naz sits on the board of MAF fitness Pte Ltd in Australia and the United States, retains his ownership of Gulfreps in Dubai, owns 10 Spartans Boxing Clubs in Singapore and is now back working with Clive and his management team in the UK to launch Connecting Travel in the Middle East
