New premium economy cabin unveiled by Cathay Pacific

Long-haul Boeing 777s to be retrofitted in 2024

New premium economy seats are being introduced by Hong Kong's largest carrier Cathay Pacific as part of an in-flight service upgrade.

The seats feature a leather headrest and customised seat cushions, privacy wings with a reading light next to the headrest, a 15.6-inch 4K ultra-high definition seatback screen with on demand and Bluetooth audio streaming, as well as storage for personal devices.

In addition, bathrooms on each side of the cabin offer touch-free features to ensure minimal contact.

The airline's long-haul Boeing 777-300ER aircraft are to be retrofitted with the new cabins later this year.
