Dubai Harbour Cruise Terminal is officially open

The facility is the region’s first twin-terminal cruise port

Carnival Corporation has celebrated the official launch of Dubai Harbour Cruise Terminal in partnership with Shamal Holding following a strategic partnership signed in 2018 to develop the new cruise port.

Dubai Harbour Cruise Terminal spans more than 120,000 square metres (nearly 1.3 million square feet) and includes two purpose-built terminal buildings that offer passengers and crew a seamless embarkation and disembarkation experience.

The event was marked by the arrivals of Costa Firenze and AIDAbella from the Italy-based Costa Cruises and Germany-based AIDA Cruises brands, and coincided with the start of the cruise season, as well as both ships’ homeporting seasons from Dubai.

Costa Cruises is a Gold Sponsor of the Italian Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, and as a result, cruise guests are provided with added shore excursion options, enabling them to explore the world fair.

The terminals are designed to be fully accessible for all visitors and offer a range of amenities and services for passengers and crew including currency exchange outlets, ATMs, cafes, retail outlets, dedicated parking, taxi stands and complimentary Wi-Fi  for guests and crew to stay connected.
