Norwegian Cruise Line to invest in new pier and experiences at Great Stirrup Cay
Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) is planning to invest in “developing experiences” at its private island destination, Great Stirrup Cay, part of the Berry Islands in the Bahamas.
Speaking on board its newest ship Norwegian Aqua, NCL Vice-President and Chief International Sales and Marketing Officer Jason Krimmel told agents there was “more to come” for Great Stirrup Cay in the Bahamas, with further updates expected in the next few weeks.
He said: “We are having a new pier built, which will be ready in October, and to go along with that investment, we will invest in developing more experiences.”
Krimmel added: “Great Stirrup Cay has a very distinct personality of being a true upscale private island experience. It is, in fact, the largest real estate of the of all the private islands out there, so there's tremendous opportunity for us to be able to expand upon the experiences we can offer.”
