Gabriella Fonzo promoted to Senior Director of Sales for EMEA
Sister cruise lines Oceania and Regent Seven Seas, operated by NCL Holdings, have restructured their sales leadership team for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
The move comes as both brands expand their fleets in the coming years, with Oceania set to welcome its newest ship Allura this summer.
In a newly created role, Gabriella Fonzo will oversee the sales teams for both brands as Senior Director Sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa.
An industry veteran, Fonzo has worked in cruise for more than two decades, including 13 years with Regent, where she has held several sales roles, including most recently as Senior Director Sales for CEMEA at Regent Seven Seas.
Originally from Italy, she has traveled widely and speaks four languages fluently.
“I can’t wait to work with the sales teams across both brands to take these two pre-eminent lines within their categories forward, and to help our vitally important trade partners grow their luxury and ultra luxury cruise business," she said.

Reporting to Steve Odell, SVP International and Consumer Sales for the brands, Fonzo will lead a five-strong sales team, including Alessandra Cabella, who has been promoted to Senior Business Development Manager for Southern Europe and the Middle East for both brands.
With more than 25 years in cruise sales under her belt, Cabella most recently served as Oceania Cruises’ Senior Business Development Manager for Europe, and before that, in sales roles for Silversea and Royal Caribbean.
Commenting on the promotions, Odell said: “This new structure leverages our exceptional talent pool and allows the team to bolster the sharing of best practices, ultimately providing stronger support to our valued travel partners.
“It strategically positions both brands to capitalise on the growing demand for luxury and ultra luxury cruising while showcasing the strengths of our industry-leading team.”
The sister brands have distinct offerings, with Regent an ultra luxury line with six vessels and Oceania a culinary- and destination-focused operator with eight small luxury ships. Following the arrival of Oceania Allura in July 2025, Regent will welcome its first new-generation ship, Seven Seas Prestige, in 2026, and Oceania will take delivery of its first Project Quattro ship in 2027.
