Royal Caribbean launches 247-night Ultimate World Cruise

Passengers will visit all seven continents and 11 Wonders of the World

Royal Caribbean International has opened bookings for its inaugural Ultimate World Cruise, a 274-night adventure that visits all seven continents, more than 150 destinations in 65 countries and 11 Wonders of the World. 

The experience is offered aboard Serenade of the Seas, departing from Miami on 10 December 2023 and returning to the same port on 10 September 2024. 

The extensive itinerary includes stops in 57 destinations new to the cruise line. Highlights include Casablanca, Morocco; Qaqortoq, Greenland and Shimizu in Japan, ideal for those wishing to visit Mount Fuji. Guests will also have the opportunity to visit Peru’s Machu Picchu and the Taj Mahal in India.

The Ultimate World Cruise can either be booked in full or guests can choose to break their journey up into four smaller expeditions that offer a range of destinations in the Americas, Asia-Pacific, the Mediterranean or Northern Europe.

The Round the Horn: Americas and Antarctica Expedition, which sails from 10 December 2023 to 11 February 2024 will sail three continents, 36 destinations and visit four World Wonders. 

Offering guests the opportunity to venture in Oceania and Asia, the cruise’s next leg, the Wonders of Asia and the Pacific Expedition will sail from 11 February to 9 May 2024 and explore three continents, 40 destinations and three wonders. 

Next, the Middle East Treasures and Marvels of the Med Expedition will sail from Dubai and take place from 9 May to 10 July 2024 visiting three continents, 44 destinations and four World Wonders. 

The final leg of the journey is Capitals of Culture, sailing from 10 July to 10 September 2024, exploring three continents and 40 destinations. It begins in the Mediterranean and heads north. Travellers will have the opportunity to discover Barcelona’s architecture, Parisian bistros and Iceland’s Blue Lagoon before the ship heads back to Miami.

Guests who book the full Ultimate World Cruise can expect business class airfare, premium transportation, evening of festivities and accommodation at a five-star hotel before setting sail.
