Silversea Cruises’ new 65-destination voyage

The 132-day cruise will travel across 14 countries

Silversea Cruises has launched an exclusive pre-sale on its 2024 world cruise, entitled ‘Far East-West’. Created in response to a burgeoning demand for extended voyages, the 132-day journey was designed by Silversea’s destination experts to broaden the horizons of even the most well-heeled travellers, connecting many immersive experiences throughout the Pacific Ocean. In total, guests will visit 65 destinations across 14 countries, including 40 new ports for Silversea Cruises.

Hosted aboard the 388-guest Silver Shadow, the voyage will depart from San Francisco on 15 January 2024. Travellers will journey from east to west on a round-trip itinerary that will encompass most of the Pacific Rim, from Hawaii and remote Pacific isles, to Australia and New Zealand, through Southeast Asia, China, Japan and the Russian Far East, and then back across the Pacific to Alaska, Canada and finally California.

The remote Russian Far East and America’s wildly beautiful Alaska will feature for the first time on a Silversea World Cruise.

Commenting on the launch, Silversea Cruises president and chief executive officer Roberto Martinoli said: “Ultra-luxury travel is well and truly back, and our guests have expressed a strong desire for longer cruises to faraway destinations, exemplified by the resounding success of our World Cruise 2023, which sold out on the day of its general opening. Building on that momentum, our World Cruise 2024, ‘Far East-West’, is designed to bring together some of the world’s most interesting and far-flung destinations in a meaningful way that lets guests experience the true joy of exploring the world again.”

As well as enjoying at least one free shore excursion in every port of call, more than 200 experiences in total, world-cruising guests have exclusive access to a special selection of bespoke shore experiences called the World Cruise Collection. One notable example is the Brisbane experience where guests will embark upon a full-day tour of Lady Elliot Island and the Southern Great Barrier Reef, witnessing the coral reef up close and swimming with an incredible array of marine life, including manta rays.

Silversea’s all-inclusive luxury offering features private executive transfers; a Bon Voyage reception, dinner and overnight accommodation prior to embarkation and business-class air travel (from selected countries). Once onboard, Silver Shadow’s passengers can enjoy ocean-view suites, personalised butler service and luxury cuisine in four restaurants.

Fares for Silversea’s Far East-West World Cruise 2024 start from approximately US$68,000 per guest, based on double occupancy, and booking opens 4 August 2021. For more information, visit here
