Inside France's all-new Disneyland Hotel

Revitalised rooms and fine dining have transformed the theme park hotel into a five-star family favourite

After a two-year renovation, the reimagined Disneyland Hotel in Disneyland Paris reopened its doors at the end of January 2024, becoming the French theme park’s first five-star offering. 

The hotel is spread across two wings – east and west – and all rooms give a nod to Disney’s magical storytelling. Its 487 rooms and suites immerse guests in a world of princes, princesses and fairytale castles inspired by Disney royalty. 

Be ready to bump into Mickey, Minnie and the whole royal troupe during a stay here. From the lobby to the restaurants, these much-loved characters roam around and will stop for a chat or a photo. 

What to do: Easy access to the park's rides and attractions is a bonus. As well as having Europe’s biggest theme park on its doorstep, there is much to explore in the hotel. Energetic guests can start the day in a well-equipped, state-of-the-art gym, while those wanting to relax after walking around the parks all day can splash around in The Crystal Health Club with its large indoor pool or recharge in the Spa by Clarins.

Accommodation: The spacious Superior Rooms include two double beds and accommodate a family of four, while the bathroom comes with a double sink, bath, rainfall shower and separate WC. 

The coffee station includes a Nespresso machine and kettle, plus there’s a pillow menu to please fussy sleepers. The rooms also have modd lighting and interactive fibre-optic displays, such as pictures of Disney characters above the beds that, at the press of a button, can ‘send a kiss’ from one image to the other.

Suites take the Disney elements up a notch with themes from Frozen, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and Beauty and the Beast, and comprise a lounge, a large bathroom with Clarins toiletries and a walk-in wardrobe. A free nursery service provided by certified carers is available for children aged between four and 11 for up to two hours. 

La Table de Lumière  

Restaurants and bars: The main dining room, the Royal Banquet, is a self-service affair but includes premium produce, such as oysters and lobster at the seafood bar, carved meats and customisable desserts. 

The restaurant that can’t be missed is fine-dining venue La Table de Lumière, inspired by the hall of mirrors in the Palace of Versailles and Beauty and the Beast. From the table service to the nouvelle cuisine, it’s a real treat. 

End the night at the Fleur de Lys Bar with a well-deserved drink from the extensive cocktail menu. 

Experiences: The 'My Royal Dream' experience will transform little ones into princesses and princes for the day, with hair, make-up, costumes and a photo shoot, starting from €95. 

Also be sure to stop and admire the stunning Bohemian crystal chandelier in the lobby, which represents Sleeping Beauty's castle and sparkles like a thousand stars.
