Travellers from 28 countries can arrive in Abu Dhabi without having to quarantine
Abu Dhabi has updated its green list, reducing the number of countries travellers can arrive from without having to quarantine from 31 to 28.
Effective from 2pm UAE local time on Wednesday, 18 August 2021, Malta, the Republic of Ireland and Sweden have been added to the emirate’s green list. But six countries have been removed, namely Armenia, Austria, Israel, Italy, Maldives and the US.

The update was issued by Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism, and applies to countries that travellers are arriving from, rather than the traveller’s citizenship.
The updated green list is as follows: Albania, Australia, Bahrain, Belgium, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Germany, Hong Kong (SAR), Hungary, Malta, Mauritius, Moldova, New Zealand, Poland, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Seychelles, Singapore, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Province of China, and Ukraine.
Earlier this week, the Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee updated travel procedures for travellers arriving in Abu Dhabi.
